A

ADA / Accessibility

The DCU Center is committed to providing accessibility and accommodation to all guests for their comfort, safety, and enjoyment. Every effort has been made to comply with these needs, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

If you have any unique special needs, please contact the DCU Center by calling 508-929-0164 in advance of attending your event so that we may assist you. If at an event, please visit the Box Office Ticket Window located across from Section 125. You may also request assistance by seeking out the nearest DCU Center team member.

The DCU Center is located at 50 Foster Street, Worcester, MA 01608. 

Please note that packages shipped to the DCU Center should be directed to Door 4A on Major Taylor Blvd.

Aisles

For the safety and comfort of all guests, sitting or standing in the aisles is strictly prohibited. Patrons must remain in their assigned seats at all times. Failure to comply may result in removal from the event.

Please note: Handrails are available in most sections of the 100 Level (no handrails in the single letter sections) of the facility. Due to the age and original design of the venue, handrails are not available in the 200 or 300 Levels.

Alcohol Service Management/Policy

Alcohol is served at most DCU Center events. We reserve the right to require proper age identification from anyone seeking to purchase an alcoholic beverage, regardless of apparent age. Acceptable forms of valid identification are:

  • A Massachusetts Driver's License, Massachusetts Liquor Identification Card, Massachusetts Identification Card;
  • A Passport Issued by the United States or a government that is officially recognized by the United States;
  • A Passport Card for a Passport Issued by the United States; and
  • Military Identification Card.     

All other forms of Photo Identification, including out-of-state licenses are not accepted.

Please note that the DCU Center is a No Passing Zone! Providing alcoholic beverages to anyone under the age of 21 at the DCU Center is against the law. Violators who provide alcoholic beverages to anyone under the age of 21, as well as anyone under the age of 21 who accepts an alcoholic beverage, will be evicted from DCU Center and could face arrest, eviction without a ticket refund, and/or a lifetime ban:

Animals

Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a Service Animal is defined as a service dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for persons with a disability. Service dogs that are trained to provide services and tasks for guests are permitted in the DCU Center. Support or companion animals, and other pets are not permitted. Guests with service dogs may not take up additional seats unless a ticket has been purchased for the adjacent seat for the service dog.

Assistive Listening Devices (ALD)

Upon request, we are happy to assist in providing an Assistive Listening Device (ALD) should you or someone in your party request this service, free of charge, to be picked up at the Box Office when you arrive at the event. To ensure there is no delay in assisting you, we encourage you to contact our Box Office at 508-929-0164 at the time you purchase tickets, or at least 7 days prior to the date of the scheduled event.

ATMS

A Digital Federal Credit Union (DCU) ATM is located by the Box Office across from Section 125 inside the Arena.

B

Bag Policy

Guests may bring in small purses/wristlets, backpacks, or fanny packs that are a maximum size of 8x10 inches. Medical bags and diaper bags, including breast pumps are allowed and will be checked prior to entry. All other bags larger than 8x10 inches will not be permitted in. Breast pumps and an accompanying bag are permitted but will be subject to a security check.

Binoculars

Binoculars are permitted and are subject to inspection.

Box Office

Tickets may be purchased in-person at the Arena Box Office (Door 9) located at 50 Foster Street at the corner of Foster Street and Major Taylor Boulevard. Tickets purchased at the Box Office are NOT subject to Ticketmaster convenience and/or handling charges. Please note that a facility fee is charged to each ticket purchased to the DCU Center and varies between $3.00 and $5.00, depending on the type of event.

C

Cameras

Point-and-shoot cameras are allowed. Cameras with detachable lenses are NOT permitted. Only approved media may bring in large scale cameras. Photography on your cellphone is permitted with limited exceptions that would be noted on the specific event page. 

Canceled/Postponed Events

In the rare event that a DCU Center event is cancelled or postponed, the most up to date information will be available on our website. If you cannot find the information you need there, please email our Guest Services team at info@dcucenter.com or contact 508-755-6800.

Cashless Payment

Cashless forms of payment accepted include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. In addition, Apple Pay, Google Wallet, Samsung Pay, and Android Pay are accepted. Most of our concession stands are cashless with the exception of the North Grandstand located across from Section 123. For special needs, please request a member of the SAVOR Catering team while on site.

Child Ticket Policy

All individuals two years of age or older must have a valid ticket for entry into the DCU Center. A child under two years of age is admitted free of charge for all events, provided that the child sits on a patron's lap.

Concessions

The DCU Center maintains a full-service, in-house Food & Beverage Department managed by SAVOR Catering. Multiple concession stands are spread out throughout the Arena. Please note that most of our concession stands are cashless with the exception of the North Grandstand located across from Section 123.

Door Opening Times

For most shows, doors open 1 hour before the event starts. Certain events may vary.

Dress Code

All guests in attendance are required to always wear a shirt, pants/shorts/skirt and shoes for their own safety. DCU Center management reserves the right to deny entry to guests wearing clothing items displaying public indecency and offensive text and/or images. Masks are NOT permitted.

Electric Machines

Electrical Outlets are available at many of our accessible seating areas. Please contact the Box Office at 508-929-0164 in advance for your ticket purchase to ensure you are located in one of these areas. Otherwise, please inform a DCU Center team member when you arrive, and they will assist you.

Electronic Cigarettes

Electronic cigarettes/Vape Pens are not permitted to be used in the Arena at any time.

Entry

Entry to DCU Center events requires a ticket. All guests must show a valid ticket, go through security screening and have their ticket scanned before heading to their seat.

Facility Fee

All tickets are subject to a facility fee. Amount may vary.

First Aid

Should an injury or incident occur while at an event, please report this immediately to an DCU Center team member. First Aid is located outside Section 121. Trained Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) personnel are available to assist any guest in need at all DCU Center Arena events.

Food Allergy

If you have any questions or concerns regarding food options for allergies and dietary restrictions, please email info@dcucenter.com, a minimum of one week before the event. If on site, please request to speak with a member of the SAVOR Catering team to assist you.

Food & Beverage

Guests are not allowed to bring outside food or beverages into the DCU Center. We have a number of concession stands available with options for your indulgence. For guest convenience, we have water fountains throughout the Arena.

G

General Admission (G.A.) Ticketing - Floor

The General Admission (G.A.) area, located on the floor of the Arena, is standing room only and there are no seats. Guests with G.A. Floor tickets must enter through designated entrances which are typically announced 7 days prior to the scheduled event. There will also be signage on the outside of the facility directing guests to those designated entrances. In most cases, doors will open at the same time for all guests, however some events allow guests with G.A. Floor tickets early entry. Please refer to the event you are attending for additional information. After entering the building, guests with G.A. Floor tickets will receive a wristband to access the floor. No guest will be allowed access to the G.A. Floor without both a valid ticket and wristband.

Guest Code of Conduct

DCU Center is committed to creating a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Guests who do not comply with the Guest Code of Conduct guidelines below may be in violation of Arena/City ordinances and will be subject to arrest, eviction without a ticket refund, and/or a lifetime ban:

  • Guests will enjoy the event experience free from disruptive behavior, including foul or abusive language and obscene gestures.
  • Guests will consume alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner. Intervention with an impaired, intoxicated or underage guest will be handled in a prompt and safe manner.
  • Guests will sit only in their ticketed seats and show their tickets when requested.
  • Guests will not engage in fighting, throwing objects, or attempting to enter the playing or performing surface. Guests who do so will be immediately evicted from the Arena.
  • Guests will not smoke in the Arena. Guests who do so will be immediately evicted from the Arena.
  • Guests will not display obscene or indecent messages on signs or clothing.
  • Guests will comply with requests from Arena staff regarding Arena operations and emergency response procedures.
  • Guests will not exit and re-enter the building after scanning of tickets.

Identification

We reserve the right to require proper age identification from anyone seeking to purchase an alcoholic beverage, regardless of apparent age. Acceptable forms of valid identification are: 

  • A Massachusetts Driver's License, Massachusetts Liquor Identification Card, Massachusetts Identification Card;
  • A Passport Issued by the United States or a government that is officially recognized by the United States;
  • A Passport Card for a Passport Issued by the United States; and
  • Military Identification Card.

Impaired Guests

The DCU Center reserves the right to deny entry to impaired guests. Any impaired guest causing a disturbance during an event will be asked to leave the facility, without a ticket refund, and may be subject to arrest.

Interpretive Services

Upon request, we are happy to assist in arranging a sign language interpreter should you or someone in your party request this service. To ensure there is no delay in assisting you, we encourage you to contact our Box Office at 508-929-0164 at the time you purchase tickets, or at least 14 days prior to the date of the scheduled event, to arrange for an interpreter. Please note that coordinating an interpreter is subject to their schedule(s).

Know Before You Go

A 'Know Before You Go' email will be sent 1-3 days prior to an event if an email address was provided at the time of ticket purchase. For more information, please visit our Know Before You Go page.

Lost and Found

To report a lost item or turn in an item you’ve found, please seek out the nearest DCU Center team member. If you need to reach Lost & Found after an event, please call 508-929-0182.

Lost Persons

Children should be directed to the nearest DCU Center team member should they become lost. Lost children will be taken to First Aid located outside Section 121. Parents looking for a lost child should go to First Aid as well. Please report lost persons to the nearest DCU Center team member.

Lost or Stolen Tickets

Guests who have lost tickets or have had tickets stolen before an event takes place should return to the point of purchase for further assistance.

Mobile Tickets

Tickets purchased on ticketmaster.com or AXS.com are easily accessed through their app. Download and sign into the Ticketmaster or AXS.com app prior to the event. Your tickets will download to your wallet. Having this ready upon entering will ensure a smooth and contactless entrance process.

Parking

While DCU Center does not own or operate any parking, we work closely with the garages and parking lots nearest us to provide guests with several convenient options.

Posters/Signs

Signage allowance is on a show-by-show basis. Acceptable signs must meet the following criteria:

  • Maximum size limit of 3 ft x 3ft
  • No inappropriate language or images
  • No political messaging 
  • Posters must not be blank
  • Posters must not be attached to poles or sticks

Private Events

Prohibited Items

Prohibited items include items which could be used as a weapon, unlawful substances, bottles or cans, confetti, helium balloons, laser pens, noise makers, stickers, backpacks, knapsacks, luggage, coolers, parcels, briefcases, tablets and like articles. Guests with prohibited articles will be turned away at the entrances. Please note that facility and/or event management reserves the right to alter this policy at any time.

Pyrotechnics

Pyrotechnics, Strobes, Lasers and Haze may be in use during any event.

R

Railyard Lounge

The DCU Center Railyard Lounge is located outside Section 120 across from the Coors Light Cold Zone. Available for select Arena events, it offers a range of premium amenities in a private setting. Please note that the Lounge does not offer a view of the Arena bowl.

Re-Entry

Guests are not allowed to exit and re-enter the Arena during events.

Refunds

All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges are allowed.

Relocations

On the day of an event, seat relocations may be a possibility due to show set-up. If you have any concerns about your seating, please check with the Box Office, located across from section 125 inside the Arena.

Security Screening

Event attendees may be subject to a search upon entering the facility. A Security Screening (walk-through metal detector and/or security wand) may be conducted for events in the Arena. If deemed necessary, pat downs may be conducted. Guests should plan to arrive earlier than normal, with their ticket and limited belongings, to allow for this enhanced security process.

Smoking

The DCU Center is a smoke-free facility The use of tobacco, vape pens or electronic cigarettes inside the facility is strictly prohibited.

Strollers

Strollers are allowed but are subject to a security check upon entrance. Strollers must be folded and placed against the wall before taking your seat.

Tickets

To purchase tickets online, please visit ticketmaster.com or in-person at our Box Office. On occasion, certain events held at the DCU Center will be sold through AXS.com.

Please note that the DCU Center is not affiliated with and cannot verify the legitimacy of tickets purchased through any third-party ticketing sites.

U

Umbrellas

Compact/collapsible umbrellas are permitted. Umbrellas larger than 12 inches will be held by security and can be retrieved once you exit the facility.

V

Video and Audio Equipment Policy

Use of video or audio recording equipment is strictly prohibited by event promoters, and the DCU Center reserves the right to confiscate any recording equipment.

W

Weapons

Guests are prohibited from bringing weapons into the DCU Center. Weapons include, but are not limited to, the following: firearms, explosives, stun guns, handcuffs, brass knuckles, sticks, clubs, batons, martial arts instruments, pepper spray, tear gas, knives, etc. Guests found in possession of the above-mentioned items will be asked to remove the item from the Arena or dispose of it. Guests who refuse to comply will be ejected from the Arena and may be subject to arrest.

Wheelchairs

Please note that the DCU Center does not have wheelchairs available for use by guests, however wheelchair escorts are available for guests who may need assistance getting to or from their seat. Our escorts will meet a guest at the entry doors and assist them to their seat as well as meeting them at the end of the event and escorting them to the nearest exit. For guests in wheelchairs, Door 13 of the Arena provides for a quick, unobstructed access to the facility. 

Wi-Fi

Guests can connect to free Wi-Fi courtesy of Sagacious by turning on Wi-Fi on their wireless devices and selecting "DCUCenterGuestWiFi" from the list of available networks.

Will Call

If you have tickets waiting for you, they will be held at Will Call located at the Box Office. When picking up tickets, please present the following:

  • Your state or federally issued I.D.  (ex. driver's license).
  • Your Ticketmaster confirmation number, if applicable.
  • Any paperwork or the contact name/party associated with your tickets, if applicable.

Will Call tickets are available for pick-up at any time prior to the event, unless they are provided by the show or a radio station. In this case, these tickets will be available for pick-up two hours before the start of the show. 

Worcester Wares

Worcester Wares offers unique Worcester-themed items and apparel designed and hand silk screened in Worcester.
